Service Dog No Slip Martingale Patch Collar

The Service Dog No Slip Martingale Patch Collar combines the working function of a martingale training collar and a Service Dog identification patch collar.

A martingale style collar is one that when you pull on the D-ring the collar will become tighter on the dog. This is a good collar for working the dog in public when you may need a little more control or when training the dog.

It is made of 1.5” thick webbing, it has a 1.5” black side release buckle that is adjustable.  There is a welded metal D-ring in the center for attaching your leash. 

For the martingale no slip patch collar to work properly as a training collar, it must be well-fitted and worn secure around the dog’s neck.  The collar should be worn high on the dog’s neck and sit just behind the ears. It should fit snugly, and there should be no play in the collar when in the stationary position. Once you have the collar set to the size needed, then you can use the side release buckle to take the collar on and off the dog. This is a nice feature as you will not need to adjust the collar each time you put it on the dog. When the collar is set in this position while training, the dog cannot back out or slip the collar. If you fit it properly, it will take just a small amount of tapping on your leash to tighten the collar for a gentle correction response. Your dog will quickly learn that a quick tap on the leash means he/she is to change his/her behavior.

To use this training collar, it is important to purchase the correct size for your dog. Measure the dog’s neck just behind the ears. This collar is available in 3 sizes: Small 16-19”  Medium 19-25”  Large 24-33”. Made in the USA.

The Service Dog No Slip Martingale Patch Collar comes with 2 standard patches of your choice.  Custom patches are also available for this collar.  That is a nice feature to add the dog’s name or specialty patch to display specific information.

We suggest you do not leave this collar on the dog when it is not working or unattended.
