Service Dog Vest with Patches

The S&R Style Harness Vest is made of a tough and highly visible 1000 denier nylon/urethane coated fabric that is padded and lined for your dog’s comfort. There is a Hook and Loop closing, clear vinyl pocket for your ID. The reflective straps across the back and sides of the vest provide added visibility at night. All seams are double stitched and bound with nylon web for a beautiful, finished look.

On top of the vest, there is a heavy welded D-ring for attaching your leash and allowing you to use the harness for pulling / carting work with your dog. There is also a plastic swivel snap.

The chest strap has a two-way adjustment. The girth strap is adjustable and allows your dog the mobility that it needs to work, run, and jump.

ActiveDogs Registered Service Dog & Handler ID Card

Our Identification Cards provide all the information clearly for your Service Dog on one easy to read, high quality, laminated ID card. When you purchase this card you will also receive a FREE entry to our online registry database which can be validated from any smart phone, tablet, or computer.

The Registered Service Dog ID Card is made from heavy duty 30ml plastic, the same as most state issued ID cards. A professional resin thermal encoder machine is used in printing the ID to create a professional looking, durable and long lasting card. The card is laminated on both sides for extra durability.

Service Dog IDs will have the ADA (American with Disabilities Act) information on the back of the ID. This information addresses your rights and protects your full access required by law to public buildings.

 

Clip-On Service Dog ID Pouch

The Clip-On Service Dog ID Pouch is a helpful service dog tool for Identification with the bonus feature of a little storage. The pouch front has a vinyl pocket for your dog’s ID or ADA card.  Above the window pocket there are bright white embroidered letters that displays the words “Service Dog”.  The back of the pouch has a full length center zipper so it is so easy to open and access the pouch contents.  The pouch will hold a pack of the ADA cards (sold separately), keys, a small pill bottle, headphones, poo bags, etc.

The top of the Clip-On Service Dog ID Pouch has a spring snap so it can be attached to the dogs harness, vest, tote, bags, etc. This little pouch is just the right size, not too large but small enough while still being visible. It measures 4″ x 6″.

The Padded Cordura Clip-on Bridge Handle is a great addition to any vest. Simply clip-on to the D-Rings of a vest to extend your your handle and avoid unnecessary bending and reaching. This flexible bridge handle is covered with coordinating Cordura material to perfectly match any ActiveDogs vest. This handle comes with a 2 heavy duty snaps that easily clip-on, and a soft grip neoprene sleeve which can be adjusted for the ultimate fit & comfort. Handlers with hand mobility issues greatly benefit from the softer neoprene feel of this handle. The Padded Cordura Clip-on Bridge Handle is designed to provide comfort, texture, and a soft feel for any handler.

 

Engraved Service Dog Travel Tag

These tags are a must have when traveling with your service dog. The tags are a 2″ across, 2.5″ tall shield style plastic engraved two sided tag that can be used on the dogs collar, harness, or vest. The engraved tag states on one side that this is a service dog traveling with a disabled handler and the other side is the ADA law and Aviation Protection information with phone numbers. This tag comes with a trigger snap clip attached to it for easy application.

 

Service Dog Hands-Free 7′ Leash W/ Chrome Service Dog ID Tag

The purpose of this Service Dog Hands Free Chrome Tag Leash is to have the dog work with you and adapt to your body movements. It is made of ¾” wide nylon and has an attached high quality engraved Chrome identification tag. This is a well-made leash with sturdy all metal hardware. The chrome tag identifies a working service dog. The top of the tag has engraved text that says “Service Dog”, and on the lower part of the tag the text reads “Do Not Pet”. When using a hands free leash the dog learns to be attached to you and anticipate what you are doing and the direction it should move with you. One of the benefits of this leash is that it gives you free movement of both your hands. You can work attached to the dog and at the same time move independently from the dog. It is much easier to push a shopping cart, open doors, or pick up objects when you have both hands free. When you are using this lead you will direct the dog with your legs and body movements as much as touching the leash. The lead rests across your shoulder and wraps under your arm and stays close to you so you have quick access to the leash. It is adjustable with different rings that are set into the leash. This is so that the dog can be placed at different lengths away from the handler. And it gives the dog freedom to stop and lay down and rest when the lead is set on the closest snap ring.

 

Package of 30 Service Dog Cards

Each card contains access information and federal contact information. They are color printed on both sides using heavy card stock paper. They are not laminated. These cards are perfect for helping others understand your rights as a disabled handler of a service dog, therapy dog or emotional support dog. Cards come in a zip-lock, reusable bag.

 

Service Dogs: A person must be legally disabled and their dog must perform a task for them. The handler has public access rights with a Service Dog and they are protected under Federal ADA Law, and are allowed access to public property with their Service Dog.
Emotional Support Dogs: A person must have a note from a licensed mental health professional in order to legally have an ESA dog. These dogs provide an increased comfort level for their owner, particularly in social situations. These dogs do not have ADA public access rights but they are allowed to fly with their owners and qualify for no-pet housing.
Therapy Dogs: A trained dog that meets the needs of others such as: visiting nursing homes, hospitals, schools, etc while doing pet therapy work. The handlers do not have ADA public access rights with Therapy Dogs and must have permission from an establishment to enter.
