Our newly designed Police K-9/Prisoner Vehicle Insert for the Ford Interceptor SUV 2020 is truly a workhorse. This insert is custom designed per model of vehicle and is form fitted to exact specs of each model. This type of design gives you the maximum usage of your space. This also prohibits the prisoner from having any access to other parts of the vehicle and keeps your K9 partner safe & secure. This insert can be purchased in a Right or Left exit so you have the option to deploy your dog on passenger or driver side. The solid aluminum design replaces your stock seat for the prisoner with a built in all in one aluminum design so you have extra security and easy clean up. Ventilation holes allow heat and air to reach the prisoner & a plexiglas window allows you to see your prisoner while transporting. This model comes with window guards, lock & molded handle steel plate protectors.
The K9 compartment has several ventilation holes on both front and back panels for maximum airflow. The Police K-9/Prisoner Vehicle Insert also comes standard with a 12″x15″ latch-able window for your K9 so that if desired they can put there head through while on patrol but more importantly you have an emergency exit to retrieve your K9 partner in an emergency. New 2020 models now come stock from Ford with doors that are ready to use so this insert comes standard with window guards, window & door handle covers for both sides of the vehicle. No need to order the upgraded option to cover latches with our inserts they are provided for no additional fee. All ActiveDogs inserts come with dark silver vein powder coating at no additional charge.
Police K-9/Prisoner Vehicle Insert are easy to install, they bolt to the existing factory seat bolts and panels simply screw together. This insert being made completely out of aluminum have several benefits; Aluminum does not conduct heat so it does not get hot like steel and raise the temperature inside the K9 containment, Aluminum will never rust like steel does, Aluminum is lightweight but strong so your K9 is always safe.
